Fish with Transparent Head?!

The barreleye fish, or macropinna microstoma, was discovered in the Monterey Bay in California a few months ago. It is a deep-water fish and thus has extremely light-sensitive eyes. This fish's eyes rotate within a transparent, fluid-filled chamber on its head. This way, it can look upward when looking for food, and forward when feeding. Freaky!!
