F*CKED: Stevie Wonder Twitter Page

This is a little rough... click here to see the page.

Stumped: Supreme x Hanes?

Why in the F*CK would you pay more (probably 3-4x more) for a HANES t-shirt that is otherwise a HANES t-shirt, except it says "Supreme" in bite sized font on the very bottom right corner of the shirt. I'm actually a big fan of Supreme, so I'm honestly not hatin'... just sayin'...

Is it taking it too far to do a collab like this? What's next? And, is it that they're running out ideas? Or, are they testing their fan base and their willingness to purchase Supreme product to the point where they're ripping them off?

The rest of their 2009 Fall/Winter line looks pretty fresh... check it out here.

Saturday: Spike Lee Presents MJ Tribute in Prospect Park

Spike Lee had planned a Michael Jackson tribute in Ft. Greene park, but has moved the venue to Prospect Park also in Brooklyn. The crowd expectations keeps growing so community leaders and officials requested the relocation. The tribute is to be held on what would have been MJ’s 51st birthday. It was also the date that was set for his burial which has been moved to Sept. 3. The tribute will begin at 12pm and wrap around 5pm.

Haight Ashbury Street Fair Posters

The Haight street fair was developed in response to the re-birth of the economic and residential spirit of the community in the mid-1970’s. With the assistance of the late San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk, a group of neighborhood merchants, activists and residents developed the idea of producing a day long community event. The first Haight-Ashbury Street Fair was held on April 30, 1978. It's now held on the second weekend of June. Designed by local artists chosen by virtue of winning the annual poster contest, the posters are always fresh.

OH SNAP! MADDEN 2010 on the iPHONE!

According to the Geeks at the iPhoneBlog: "The game will contain real NFL rosters and, based upon the screen shots, will include Brett Favre and Michael Vick on both of their new respective teams. While EA is promising a release date of no later than opening day, September 10th, there is no official word on a price point. All of that aside, we think you can expect Madden 2010 to stiff arm it’s way into the App Store at $9.99."

Instant Street Cred: Jada's House Raided

You can't BUY this kind of Publicity:
Two associates of Jadakiss were arrested yesterday (August 24) after being busted with six pounds of marijuana, five grams of heroin and $42,000 in cash, reports The Journal News.

Patrick Heig, local beat writer, had this to say when breaking the story to the Wolf Pack Press Desk, "Cops came to the house,
found 5 g's of H in the couch, and 6.5 lbs of green hiding in the can like oscar the grouch..."

According to the paper, one of the men, Gabriel R. Henriquez, 39, had a room in Jada’s leased waterfront apartment in Yonkers, where police found the money and the drugs.

Lieutenant Joseph Monaco told the Journal that Kiss “is not wanted at this time.”

The incident started when police smelled marijuana coming from the car of Alberto Lajara, 25, the other man who was arrested in the case. While police were questioning Henriquez, who was also in the vehicle, he reportedly got nervous and ran from the car. Authorities were able to catch him, and that’s when they learned he was staying with Jada. They quickly obtained a search warrant and after checking Henriquez’s room found the contraband.

Yesterday Was National Go Topless Day in NYC!

Via NY Daily News:
New York is the only state in the country where women can be topless legally, after a 1992 ruling in the state's highest court. That means any woman can walk around the city at any time with no shirt on.
Dozens of semi-nude women gave the city a Double-D eyeful Sunday when they bared their boobs in Central Park and then marched through the streets.

Man... jaggin off at home... could've been jaggin off in Times Square!
