Roebling Tea Room, Bastille Day menu, July 17-18

Literally a block away from my house, and Gina B will be in the buildin' all weekend (she works here). I'm headed over in roughly an hour to get it started.

From Brooklyn Based:
Chef Dennis Spina has described his food to Brooklyn Based as “dirty French,” so it should come as no surprise that the Roebling Tea Room will be offering a menu in celebration of the holiday. “Bastille Day gives me a bad excuse to drink a ton of white wine and have all the unfriendly specials on the menu at once,” says Spina. “Seems like a good reason, right?” The two-night Frenchie menu will include heart frites (like steak frites, but with heart instead of steak), ham and snails, aspics, gizzard confit, duck legs, mussels, oysters, duck fat potatoes, pain au chocolate and, of course, frog legs in butter.

Roebling Tea Room is on the corner of Roebling and Metropolitan in Brooklyn.
